Using a variety of building blocks you create a machine capable of destroying/ completing a simple task (level) told to you, these go from small little houses that may as well have foundations of glass and tin foil to giant stone fortresses, canons and armed arches. So what is besiege? Well its a war machine, building block, puzzle game. Here I have made a catapult like machine thats about to really piss off that farmer Only on the PC(or iMac stick to the PC though) made by Spiderlin ggames games, I’m not sure when the releases date will be but my guess is sometime in 2016 (but I have no clue). In this review I will tell you that the game is worth so much more then the £4.99 and already as an alpha the best game I have played this year. The game is still no where near complete and only has access to 2 different areas each with about 15 levels each (although the second area only has 5/6 missions at the moment). Despite being in alpha stage the game is ridiculously good looking and smooth, I can safely say I have encountered only a few bugs (random jolting of blocks, random complete and utter destruction is a thing). The game is a build them up featuring medieval style siege materials and fortresses, villages and men to defeat. But this game more then deserves to make that list.īuild things to complete levels… here my Deadly Caterpillar did the job…. I left this off my list in my indie games are more exciting then AAA games post earlier this year. But Besiege intrigued me like no other game has this year so I took the very modest £4.99 ($6.99) plunge into the game after seeing many youtube videos and being very impressed. The best will come out on consoles and I will wait. But there are exceptions, but only a few for 2 reasons. Being a console gamer I rarely ever have use for my steam account, nor do I want to wade through the brown muddy waters of steam’s early access games catalogue.
